Eddie Tam, MPPM
CEO, CIO, Portfolio Manager
Board Member, International Center of Finance, Yale School of Management

Mr. Tam founded CAI in April 2005, and is responsible for the overall management of the portfolio. He is responsible for asset allocation between strategies and asset classes. Prior to forming CAI, Mr. Tam was the chief portfolio manager of Fore Opportunity Funds since their inception on January 1, 2004, at Fore Research & Management, LP. From 1993 to 2002, he was the head of sales and marketing of Asian derivatives at Credit Lyonnais, where he was credited as a pioneer in Asian equity derivatives. Prior to this, Mr. Tam worked at Merrill Lynch also in equity derivatives, Salomon Brothers in program trading, and at AT&T Bell laboratories in systems development and integration. Mr. Tam received his MPPM from Yale School of Management in 1993, holds a M.A.Sc. and a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and is currently an active board member of the International Center of Finance and the Greater China Advisory Board at the Yale School of Management. In October 2010, Mr. Tam was named one of the 25 most influential people in Asian hedge funds by AsianInvestors.

Armand Yeung
Managing Director, Portfolio Manager

Mr. Yeung joined the team as a Portfolio Manager in March 2006, and is primarily focused on identifying individual opportunities. Prior to joining CAI, Mr. Yeung was a senior research analyst at PMA Investment Advisors. He started his career in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs in New York and subsequently joined their Equity Capital Markets team in Hong Kong. Mr. Yeung graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics.

Bill Tsai, MPPM
Managing Director, Head of China Office

Mr. Tsai joined the team in October 2010, and is responsible for the firm's Shenzhen research office. Prior to joining CAI, Mr. Tsai was a Managing Director at Longridge Capital, which he founded, where he managed the Greater China Opportunistic Fund. Before that, Mr. Tsai also founded LCT Development in New York, which provided advisory services to firms looking to make asset acquisitions in Asia. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Tsai was the Director of Structured Investments at the Hypo Vereinsbank in New York. Mr. Tsai received his MPPM from Yale School of Management in 1994, and holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the California State University.

In some cases, these individuals claiming to be Eddie Tam or our staff have solicited investors to buy stocks, join investment schemes or make tax payments. Some of them falsely claim to be Eddie Tam by using his photos and our company logo on social media platforms and messaging systems such as Whatsapp and Telegram.
